BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land located at 2109 West Shepherd Road, being on the northwest and southwest line of West Shepherd Road at Shepherd Road. To be rezoned from R-2 to C-2: Lots 25 and 26, Subdivision of Tract 7, Mrs. Lilah Pope Shepherd Estate, as shown by plat of record in plat book 13, page 6, R.O.H.C., being the properties described in deed book 3555, page 906, R.O.H.C., and deed book 3643, page 670, R.O.H.C. R-2 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That Ordinance No. 8791, encaptioned, "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, SO AS TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2027, 2031 AND 2101 SHEPHERD ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST LINES OF SHEPHERD ROAD AT HIGHWAY 153, FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 COMMERCIAL ZONE.", be and is hereby amended so as to delete the conditions in Section 2 thereof placed upon the following tract of property: To lift conditions on property zoned C-2: Part of lots 23 and 24, Subdivision of Tract 7, Mrs. Lilah Pope Shepherd Estate, as shown by plat of record in plat book 13, page 6, R.O.H.C., being part of the property described in deed book 3365, page 737, R.O.H.C. Said parts of lots form one tract beginning on the northeast line of Highway 153 some 450 feet northwest of the intersection of the northeast line of Highway 153 with the northwest line of Shepherd Road, thence northwest 250 feet with Highway 153 to a point in the northwest line of said lot 24, thence northeast 35 feet with the northwest line of lot 24 to the northwest corner thereof, thence southeast some 338.7 feet with the northeast line of lot 24, thence southwest some 232 feet to the northeast line of Highway 153, the point of beginning.
